Alvin Virgil

Mr. Alvin Virgil, 80, of Wilson, NC, passed away on January 12, 2018 at his home.

The funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, January 21, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm  also at Stevens Funeral Home.

Mr. Virgil was preceded in death by his parents Alvin Dutch Virgil and Lula Dawes Virgil; three brothers, Rudolph Virgil, Al Smith Virgil and Delano Virgil and three sisters, Hilda Markham, Annie Evans and Barbara Faison.

He leaves cherished memories to: one son, Tim Ward (Stacie) of Charlotte, NC; one sister, Beatrice Diane Thompson of Brentwood, MD; one brother, Vernell Virgil (Mildred) of Elm City, NC; two sisters-in-law, Australia Virgil and Gladys Virgil both of Elm City, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
