Willis David Peppers

Mr. Willis David Peppers, 80, of 1205 Elvie Street, Wilson, NC, passed away on July 20, 2016.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ, 1601 Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC.

A public visitation is scheduled for Friday, July 29, 2016 from 12 noon  until 4:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

A wake service will  also be held on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, 414 Hadley Street, Wilson, NC.

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Mr. Peppers was preceded in death by his wife, Mary White Peppers; one son, Willis David James; his parents, Willie Peppers and Mary Harris Peppers; one brother Wallace Peppers and one sister, Sarah Margaret Nicholson.

He leaves many cherished memories to: one son, Kevin Peppers (Pamela) of Greensboro, NC; one daughter, Kimberly Peppers (friend, Antonio Miller) of Wilson, NC;  two grandchildren, Kenya Peppers of Greensboro, NC and Antonio Miller, Jr. of Wilson, NC; five sisters, Helen Peppers Harrell of Greenville, NC, Martha Peppers Alston (Clyde) of Newport News, VA, Wanda Peppers Jones, Tara Peppers Newkirk and Angel Peppers Gaskins all of Wilson, NC; two sisters-in-law, Mable Tull of Tuskeegee Alabama and Veda D. White of Philadelphia, PA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including  Alma Lucas, Luther Jones, Gwendolyn Wigen, Ruby Jean Jenkins, William Brodie, John Smith, James and Alfreda Pender and James T (Jimmie) and Thelma Forbes. .
