Veleria Bailey

Mrs. Veleria Bailey, 80, of Wilson, NC, passed away on May 16, 2017 at Wilson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wilson, NC.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 1:30 pm at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street, Ext., Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm also at Stevens Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Mary Ann Barnes; her husband, Leroy Bailey; three brothers, James Barnes, Roy Lee Barnes and Clarence Barnes; four sisters, Daisy Lee Ward, Catherine Williams, Mildred Rose and Alma Ruth Spell; two children, Janice Janet Kennedy and Jarvis Williams and best friend, Vera Harris.

She leaves cherished memories to: two children, James A. Williams and Evangeleria Williams; four grandchildren, Imani Sade Williams, James Malik Williams, Matthew Jamel Kennedy and Bra Nikiya Williams; one great grandchild, Jaylyn Khalil Kennedy; two god-daughters, Veleria Harris and Nell Pitt; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. 

Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
