Susan Faye Parker Edwards

Mrs. Susan Faye Parker Edwards, 64 of Charlotte, NC, passed away on August 17, 2017 at Saturn Nursing Home in Charlotte, NC.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ, 1601 Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC.  Bishop J. N. Perry, Jr. will officiate and burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane St. Ext., Wilson, NC.

Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her parents, George Tyson and Carrie Lee Parker and one daughter, LaTonya Edwards.

She leaves a legacy of love and devotion to:  her children, Manu Edwards and his wife, Wynter, of Wilson, NC and Audrey Daniels and her husband, Dominick, of Harrisburg, NC; four grandchildren, Cameron Daniels of Harrisburg, NC, Khalani Witherspoon of Dallas, GA, Hayden Edwards and London Edwards, both of Wilson, NC; three sisters, Mary Fleming, Arleen Howard and Loreen McNair and husband, Tony, all of Wilson, NC; five brothers, James May and wife, Leona, of Columbus, GA, Roosevelt Howard, Jr. and wife, Kelly, of Rocky Mount, NC, Calvin Howard and wife, Elaine, of Wilson, NC,  Roger Monroe and wife, Shirley, of Snow Hill, NC and Alvin Wayne Tyson of Greenville, NCand a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the home of her sister, Arleen Howard, 5008 White Oak Loop Rd, Wilson, NC and will assemble there on Saturday at 12 noon in preparation for the funeral procession.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
