Ruben Artis

Funeral services for Mr.Ruben Artis, 86 of Apex, NC, will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy, Wilson, NC beginning at 1:00 pm.  The committal services will follow in the Hamilton Burial Gardens located on Lane Street Ext. Wilson, NC.  

Mr. Artis was preceded in death by; his wife, Eula Artis; parents, William and Julia Artis and one brother, James Lancaster.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories; one sister, Lula Artis; three sister-in-laws, Mary Richardson, Classie Brown and Georgeana Austin; three nieces, Brenda Artis (Cheotise), Linda Artis and Gladys Artis; six nephews, Connell Artis, Ricky Artis, Larry Artis, Randy Artis, Victor Artis Ruffin and Earl Bridgers (Patricia) and a host of other relatives and friends including two special great nieces, LaKisha Artis and Felicia Rodgers and a family friend, Gary Hyman.

A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 3pm to 7pm at Stevens Funeral Home.  At other times the family will be receiving friends at 4310 Topridge Court, Wilson, NC.
