Roger Lee "RocK" Gray

Mr. Roger Lee "Rock"  Gray, 64, of Wilson, NC, passed away on September 21, 2016 at Wilson Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 11:00 am at L N Forbes OFWB Church, 1800 Lane Street, Ext. Wilson, NC.

Burial will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden, Lane Street, Ext. Wilson, NC. 

A public viewing will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.  The family will be present to receive friends from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Mr.Gray was precede in death by his parent, Luby Gene Gray, Sr and Jessie Lee Gray.

He leaves cherished memories to : two sons, Michael Williams and Roger Gray, Jr. both of Washington, DC; one daughter, Shameka Williams (Jonas)of Washington, DC; four brothers, Luby Gray, Jr., Donnell Gray (Joyce) and Douglas Gray all of Wilson, NC and Wayne Derek Martin (Valarie) of Lillington, NC; three sisters, Jean Gray Barnes of Fredericksburg, VA, Sharon Jones and Katrina Sherrod both of Wilson, NC; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two aunts, Gloria Best of Hyattsville, MD and Willie Mae Best of Rocky Mount, NC; one special friend, also known as his "play wife", Cynthia Ward ; four best friends, William McClain, Raymond Lucas,  Darius Burge and Welsey Artis all of Wilson, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends
