Robert Barnes

Mr. Robert L.  Barnes, 74, of Wilson, NC, passed away on January 15, 2018.

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Evening Light Holiness Church, 208 S. Pender Street, Wilson, NC.

Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street, Ext., Wilson, NC.

Mr. Barnes was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Barnes.

He leaves cherished memories to: one sister, Beulah Barnes, of Newark, NJ; one brother, James Outlaw,of Hawaii; one aunt, Cora Williams, of Wilson, NC; three uncles, Winstead Barnes and Herbert A. Barnes, both of Baltimore, MD and Elson R. Barnes, of Washington, DC; nine first cousins, Lena Mae Werts, of Woonsocket, RI, Gladys Kendrick, of Philadelphia, PA, Cora Randal, of San Antonio, TX, Cassandra Rice, of Fayetteville, NC, Frank El, Timothy Jenkins, Stanley Jenkins, all of Philadelphia, PA, Rev. Dr. Sellers J. Jenkins (Dorothy) and Izel Jenkins (Elsie), both of Wilson, NC and a host of Church family and friends.

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
