Randy M. Yelverton

Mr. Randy M. Yelverton, 49, of 471 Big Daddy's Road, Pikeville, NC, passed away on September 4, 2017 at his home. 

Funeral services for Mr. Randy M. Yelverton are scheduled for Friday, September 8, 2017 @ 1:00 pm and will be held at St. James Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, 514 Memorial Church Road, Fremont, NC.  The committal services will follow in the Golden Gates Cemetery, Pikeville, NC.  Pastor Tony Sutton will deliver the Words of Comfort.

Mr. Yelverton was preceded in death by his parents, Alton McKinley Yelverton and Elnora Daniels Yelverton and his grandparents, Rev. William H. Yelverton and Ethel Sauls Yelverton.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving wife, Charlotte Yelverton of the home; two children, Ajah Symone Yelverton and Randy Omar Yelverton; one grandson, Jamari Turner; his sisters, Ethel Yelverton (Russell), Brenda Lewis (Jimmy), Freda Boone (Robert) and Vergil Beamon; two brothers, Willie McClain (Yvette) and Billy McClain (Linda); his father and mother- in-law, Lovelace and Frances Williams; five sisters-in-law, Amy Lamb, Felicia Mesa (Ricardo), Pamela Williams, Denise Williams and Jeanine Williams; two brothers-in-law, James Williams and Shaun Dawson; four aunts; four uncles and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A public visitation will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy, Wilson, NC.  At other times the family will be receiving friends at 471 Big Daddy's Road, Pikeville, NC.
