Otis Lee Best

Mr. Otis Best, 79, of  1103 E. Vance Street, Wilson, NC, passed away on October 28, 2017.

The funeral service are scheduled for Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Contending For The Faith Church Ministries, 1006 Academy Street,  Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC..

Mr. Best was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Mae Best; parents, James D. Best and Fannie Best and one sister, Dorothy Lee Best. 

He leaves, two sons, Otis E. Best of Wilson, NC and James C. Best of the home; two daughters, Fannie Pearl Williams and Elizabeth Best both of Wilson, NC; nine grandchildren including Joshua Horne, whom he reared in the home, Tyeshia Best, Tameka Williams, Alexis Best, Aaliya Best, Juan Morales, Barry Morales, Charles Best, and Janiya Davis; two great grandchildren, Jaiden Horne and Jayceon Moore; one sister, Betty Jean Best of Wilson, NC; three brothers-in-law, Charles Barnes (Frances) of New York, Elijah Tomlin and Eddie Lee Tomlin both of Wilson, NC; two sisters-in-law Bettie Farmer and Florence McNeil both of Wilson, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including, a special friend, Mother Lou Robinson.
