Norman Louis Neal, Sr.

Norman Louis Neal, Sr, 77, of 202 Thurston Drive, Wilson, NC, passed away on September 19, 2017 at his residence.

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ, 1601 Lane Street, Ext, Wilson, NC. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street, Ext, Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Mr. Neal was preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Neal; one  brother, Robert Neal and one sister, Jewel Fields.

He leaves cherished memories to: one son, Norman L. Neal, Jr. of Wilson, NC; three daughters, Charlene Hinnant (Alfred) and Robin Neal both of Wilson, NC and Lisa Lynch of Washington, DC; nine grandchildren, including, his first grandchild, Don'drea Neal, whom he and his wife reared; two sisters, Minister Judy Ward (Lacy)  and Jerrell Jones,  both of Wilson, NC; six sisters-in-law, Patsy Jones, Linda Dew, Thelma Sanders, Shirley Williams, Ruby Barnett and Daphine Lucas; one brother-in-law, Clyde Lucas; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the home where they will assemble on Saturday at 11:00 am in preparation for the funeral procession. 

Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr., Parkway, Wilson, NC.
