Mrs. Delphia M. Ruffin Taylor

Mrs. Delphia M. Ruffin Taylor, 85, of 5337 Highway 264 Alternate, East, Wilson, NC, passed away on August 17, 2016.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ, 1601 Lane Street, Ext., Wilson, NC .

A public visitation is scheduled for Friday, August 26, 2016 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC. 

Burial will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden, Lane Street, Ext., Wilson, NC.

Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Franklin Taylor; two daughters, Pattie Jane Taylor and Annie Pearl Taylor; her mother, Pattie Ruffin Barnes; two brothers, James Arthur Gear and Roland Barnes; one sister, Mary Lee Hines and one sister-in-law, Volena Gear.

She leaves many cherished memories to: eleven sons, Frank Taylor (Ruth Ellen) of Enfield, NC, James Taylor (Margaret), William Taylor, Gary Taylor (Brenda), Donnie Taylor, Joseph Taylor and Robert Taylor (Tracy) all of Wilson, NC, Johnnie Taylor (Josephine) of Stantonsburg, NC, Gene Taylor (Angela) of Lucama, NC, Craig Taylor (Janet) of Fremont, NC and Terry Taylor of Rocky Mount, NC; two daughters, Ellen Taylor and Diane Randolph both of Wilson, NC; forty four grandchildren; eighty six great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; one sister, Hattie Mae Greene of Wilson, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.  

Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
