Mr. James William Barnes, Jr.

Mr. James William Barnes, Jr., 61 of 718 Hooks Street, Wilson, NC passed away on December 6, 2016 at Avante at Wilson.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

A public viewing will held on Friday December 9, 2016 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm  with the family present from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm to meet and greet friends also at Stevens Funeral Home. 

Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home,1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Mr. Barnes was preceded in death by his father, James William Barnes, Sr; three sisters, Pamela Barnes Jackson, Charlene Barnes and Cynthia Barnes. 

He leaves many cherished memories to: his mother, Mrs. Wilma Rice; five sisters, Queen Carr (Calvin) of Charlotte, NC, Joyce Ward (Roscoe) and Theresa Barnes (Ray) both of Wilson, NC,, Wilma Barnes of Washington, DC and Wanda Alston of Newark, NJ; one brother, Kenneth Ray Suggs of New Haven CT; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
