Mary Maggie Parker-Bynum

Mrs. Mary Maggie Parker-Bynum, 95, of Walstonburg, NC, passed away on October 17, 2017.

The funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 2:30 pm at Contending For the Faith Church Ministries, 1006 Academy Street, Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm  with an inspirational wake  service from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Mrs. Parker-Bynum proceeded in death by her  husband, John Bynum II; parents, Sarah Williams and Grover Parker; one son John Bynum lll; two brothers, Lonnie Parker and Sampson Parker; nine sisters, Flonnie Parker English, Barbara Parker, Virginia Parker Williams, Lucille Kelly, Cleo Parker Sharpe, Lulla Bee Bynum, Liza Bee Horne, Mildred Bynum and Peggy Barnes.
 

She leaves many cherished memories to: her children,  Queen Esther Quinerly, Otis Lee (Betty) Bynum , Jimmy Lee (Edna) Bynum , Maggie Marie (Leonard) Whitmore, Patricia Ann Bynum and Annie Bynum; one daughter-in-law, Minnie Marie Bynum;  two sisters Madie Parker Ruffin and Janice Parker Evans; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
