Marva M. Smith

Ms. Marva M. Smith, 69, of 812 Woodrow Street, Wilson, NC, passed away on June 8, 2016 at Wilson Medical Center.

The funeral service is scheduled for Friday, June 17, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ, 1601 Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC.  The public viewing will be Thursday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends at Stevens Funeral Home for an inspirational wake from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Ms. Smith leaves many cherished memories to: three daughters, Marvis Smith of Wilmington, Sharon Smith-Jones and Miriam Smith, both of Wilson; four sons, Milton Smith of Maryland, Gilbert Lewis Smith and Clearthur McCoy, both of Wilson, and  Charleston McCoy of Raleigh; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four sisters, Lewis Green, Dorothy Abraham, Katherine Best and Juanita Taylor, all of Delaware; two sisters-in-law, Lavetta Harris and Annie Smith; special cousins, Beverly Mitchell and Savannah Harris; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Services are being handled by Stevens Funeral Home.
