Kelvin F. Farmer

March 9, 1980 ~ January 18, 2017 (age 36) 36 Years Old

Mr. Kelvin F. Farmer, 36, of 505 N.E. Gold Street, Wilson, North Carolina transitioned from labor to reward on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at his home.  Funeral arrangements are .scheduled for Friday January 27, 2017 at 11:00 am at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

On March 9, 1980, Roy Douglas Farmer and Hattie Loftin-Farmer were blessed with a baby-boy, Kelvin Fitzgerald Farmer.  Kevin as he was affectionately known transitioned from this life to the next on January 18, 2017.

Kevin will be remembered  for his love of Christ, his commitment to fatherhood and his tenacious spirit.  Kevin was known for his ability to turn everyday situations into comedic events.  There was never a shortage of laughter when Kevin was around.  He was quick to give advice to anyone who needed it, whether they wanted it or not.  As   always his intentions were pure and he had a strong desire to spread his wisdom.

He was educated in the Wilson County School System.  He was an employee of both the State of North Carolina and Pizza Inn of Wilson for several years.

During his sickness, he dedicated his life to God and demonstrated his unyielding faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Douglas Farmer and Hattie Lofton-Farmer and his sister, Karletta Farmer-Smith.

Kevin leaves loving and cherished memories to ; his daughters, Nyasia Martin-Farmer, Kanaevia Farmer and Adrionna Farmer; two sisters, Tiffany S. Farmer of Saratoga, NC and Toshonda J. Farmer of Wilson, NC; six brothers, Roger D. Farmer (Wanda) and Roy D. Farmer, both of     Wilson, NC, Michael A. Farmer of Elm City, NC, Erick M. Farmer of New Mexico, Brandon D. Farmer and Marcus D. Farmer both of Wilson, NC; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are being handled by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy, Wilson, North Carolina.

Among his many family and friends that are left to cherish his memories are his three daughters in which he adored, Nyasia, Adrionna and Kanaevia.
