Judy C. Bass

On November 24, 1963, Judy Carol Bass was born to Preston Lassiter and Catherine Ingram Rowe.  She transitioned from labor to reward on August 19, 2017 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center while surrounded by her loving children and other family members. 

Throughout her whole life, Judy was a joyful person with a beautiful heart.  She not only loved her four children, but also loved grandkids, her sister and brother and her entire family. 

She was a hardworking woman in the garden and could really put her foot in some cooking.  Watching her family fellowship together over some good food was all that was needed to make her happy. 

Judy was truly an angel sent from heaven and everyone that met her fell in love with her instantly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, JC Bass and her mother, Mother Catherine Ingram.

Judy leaves to cherish her precious memories; three sons, Qunita Rowe, Recco Rowe and Demarcus Rowe; one daughter, Frenchi Rowe; eight grandkids, Quinta Jr, Daquan, Jaydin, Keontae, Gemela, Imani, Adej and Ziyana; one step-son, Jamica Sauls; three brothers, Jimmy Rowe, Ricky Rowe (Renee) and Anthony Rowe; four sisters, Ruby Jones (Thomas), Joyce Rowe, Cynthia Rowe and Tammy Rowe; one uncle, Gliff Ingram and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services are as follows: Saturday, August 26, 2017, 2:00 pm at Greater Morning Star, 702 South Sycamore Street, Fremont North Carolina 27830 and are being handled by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy, Wilson, North Carolina.
