Joseph Joyner

Mr. Joseph Joyner, 63, of Wilson, NC, passed away on  December 5, 2017 at Willow Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Goldsboro, NC.

The funeral service is scheduled for Monday, December 11, 2017 @ 2:00 pm and will be held at Stevens Funeral Home, Chapel1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy, Wilson, NC.  Bishop Willie Thomas will deliver the Words of Comfort.  The committal service will follow in Hamilton Burial Gardens located on Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 6: 00 pm also at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Mr. Joyner was preceded in death by :his parents, William Henry Joyner and Mary Frances Morgan Joyner; his sister, Shelia Joyner; four brothers, Kenneth Joyner, Carlis Joyner and Wayne Joyner.

He leaves many cherished memories to: seven sisters, Mable Joyce Joyner, Emma Joyner, Sharon Bullock and Antionette Joyner Adams all of Wilson, NC, Annie Woodard (Tim) of Sharpsburg, NC, Lois Carolyn Joyner of Elm City, NC and Denise Lovely (Anthony) of Raleigh, NC; three brothers, Connie Ray Joyner (Debra)  of Alabama, Grady Joyner (Frances) of Wilson, NC and Michael Joyner of New York; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC, Wilson, NC.
