Jimmy Tyrone Freelon

Mr. Jimmy Freelon, 41, of 315 Daniel Street, Wilson, NC, passed away on August 2, 2015 at Wilson Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, August 9, 2015 at 2:00pm at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

A public viewing will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015 also, at Stevens Funeral Home from 3:00pm until 6:00pm.

Mr. Freelon was preceded in death by his brother, James Bernard Freelon and one sister, Amanda Marie Stelle.

He leaves cherished memories to his devoted wife, Suzette Riggins Freelon; two sons, Shieem Freelon and Juan Parker both of Wilson, NC; three daughters, Tamyia Freelon and Heavenly Freelon both of Wilson, NC and India Freelon of Philidelphia, PA; two stepsons, Anthony Riggins and Monquavious both of Wilson, NC; one step daughter, Tiffany Riggins of Wilson; one grandchild, Promise Danielle Edmundosn of Philadelphia, PA; twelve step grandchildren; his parents, Crystal Ann Freelon of Wilson and James Thomas Freelon of Missouri; grandmother,  Lille Freelon of MS; one brother, Corey Freelon (Latrice) of Pikeville, NC; mother-in-law, Helen Riggins of Wilson, NC; father-in-law, William Knight of Wilson, NC; one sister-in-law, Shirlene Cobb of Wilson, NC; two brothers-in-laws, Norris Riggins (Cathy) and Christele Cobb (Esther) both of Wilson, NC; two god sisters, Tracy Jones of Wilson, NC and Crystal Walker of  NJ; two god brothers, Gregory Applewhite and Albert Jones of Wilson, NC; a host of other aunts, uncles , nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the residence where they will assemble on Sunday at 1:00 pm in preparation for the funeral procession.
