Hildred Clark Lucas

Funeral services for Mother Hildred Clark Lucas, 85, will be held on Wednesday November 15, 2017 at Brown Chapel Church, 1507 Hadley Street, Wilson, NC beginning at 11:00 am.  The committal service will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery on Lane Street Ext.  Bishop Willie Thomas will deliver the Words of Comfort. 

Mother Lucas was preceded in death by her husband, Richard N. Lucas; one son, Richard Norris Lucas Jr. and three sisters, Pearlie Neal, Manner Thompson and Willinata Armstrong.

She leaves her precious memories to her children, Joel Clarke Lucas of Raleigh, NC, Glenda N. Willis (Kerry) of Pink Hill, NC and Shon Lucas Hopkins (Thomas) of Wilson, NC; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren; two sisters, Edith McKeller (James) of Wilson, NC and Jennette Griffin of Deleware and a host of other relatives and friends.

The public visitation for Mother Lucas will be held at Brown Chapel Church, Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 9:45 am to 10:45 am.
