Henry Clee Lucas

Mr. Henry Clee Lucas, 82, of 4077 E. NC Highway 97, Elm City, NC, passed away on August 30, 2015 at Wilson, NC Medical Center in Wilson, NC.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Williams Chapel Baptist Church, 6154 Williams Chapel Church Road, Elm City, NC.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, September 4, 2015 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Mr. Lucas was preceded in death by: one son, Henry Sylvester Lucas; his parents, William D. Lucas and Roberta Harris Lucas; three  brothers, William A. Lucas, Charles, S. Lucas and Willie Roy Lucas.

He leaves cherished memories to: his devoted wife, Van Dora Lucas of the home; one son, Derrick Lucas (Teresa)  of Wilson, NC; one daughter Tina Wagner (Andrew); four grandchildren, Corey Lucas, Jason Lucas, Derrick Lucas, Jr. and Amiya Lucas; six great grandchildren, Kendra Newton, Tiwan Woodard, Alexis Wagner, Andrew Wagner, Jr., Kamden Ligon, and Zayha Lucas; three brothers, Raymond Lucas and  Robert Lucas both of Wilson, NC and, Albert Lucas (Dollie) of Greenville, NC; three sisters, Channie Lucas of Wilson, NC, Judy Lucas of Greensboro, NC, Annie Lee Hunter (Billy) of Lawham, MD; one daughter-in-law, Susie Lucas of Reidsville, NC; one sister-in-law, Brenda Dawes (David) of Elm City, NC; one very special friend, Larry Daniel of Elm City, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
