Gregory Vincent Carson

Mr. Gregory Vincent Carson, 37, of 306 North Avenue, Wilson, NC passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Duke Medical Center in Durham, NC.  The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Church of Christ, 4133 Frank Price Church Road, Black Creek, NC.  Pastor David Sutton will officiate and burial will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden, Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Carson and Earthy Bryant.

Mr. Carson leaves a legacy of love to: one sister, Mahalia James and her husband Bobby of Wilson, NC; six brothers, James Brown and his wife, Jennifer, of Wilson, NC, Jerome Walker and Michael Walker, both of Asheville, NC, Charlie Walker of Wilson, NC, Paul Walker of Asheville, NC and Darrell Carson of Wilson, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including the staff and residents of Hinton's Residential.

A public viewing will be held Friday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home.  At other times, the family will be receiving friends at 306 North Avenue, Wilson, NC and will assemble there on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in preparation for the funeral procession.
