Ms. GiGi Vanessa Battle, 58, of 3100 Erwin Rd., Durham, NC, passed away on November 7, 2017. 

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 11:00 am at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy, Wilson, NC.

Ms. Battle leaves many cherished memories to: one son, Michael Lamont Brown of Brooklyn, NY; one daughter, Kendal Vanessa Taylor of Bailey, NC; one granddaughter, Khaliyah Michala Battle; three sisters, Mary Strothers of Rocky Mount, NC, Katherene Cheeks (Keith) of Durham, NC, Helen Battle of Albany, NY; four nephews, Everette Johnson, Michael Johnson, David Riley III (Elsie) and Michael Riley (Nyeisha); one niece, Sean Webb (Vernon) and a host of great nieces and nephew, other relatives and friends.
