Mr. George Thomas, Jr. of Wilson, NC, passed away on November 24, 2017 at Wilson Medical Center.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ, 1601 Lane Street, Ext., Wilson, NC
A public visitation will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm also at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his grand daughter, Azariah Imaylia Macklin; his parents, George Thomas, Sr. and Minnie Atkinson Thomas; two brothers, Vernon Atkinson and David Barnes and two sisters, Alice Thomas and Angus Barnes.
He leaves cherished memories to: two daughters, Khadijah Sion Macklin and Erica Shay-Macklin both of LA;one grandchild, Hayden Isiah Macklin; three sisters, Anita Thomas, Linda Horne and Brenda McNair; three brothers, Terry Barnes, Tony Thomas and Harvey Summerlin; a host of other relatives and friends.
Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr., Parkway, Wilson, North Carolina.
