Frank James Sutton

Mr. Frank James Sutton, 65, of 213 Broad Street, Wilson, NC, passed away on October 18, 2017 at the Durham VA Medical Center, Durham, NC.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 11:00 am at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Burial will be in Eastern Carolina Veteran Cemetery in Goldsboro, NC. 

A public visitation will be held on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm also at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. 

Mr. Sutton was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse James Sutton and Maybelle Jones. Sutton; two sisters, Jessie Bell Sutton and Deloris May and one brother, Demetrius Paterkin.

Mr. Sutton leaves cherished memories to: two sons, Williard Jones (Pia) of Greenville, NC and Demetrius Rogers of Laurel, MD; one daughter, Zina Daniels (Tony) of Texas; fifteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; four sisters, Mattie Jean Brinson (John) of Chapel Hill, NC, Bertha Lucas, Senna Peterkin and Juanita Artis all of Wilson, NC; four brothers, Gregory Sutton of South Carolina, Tyrone Rogers and Steve Earl Peterkin both of Wilson, NC and Leroy Allen of Clinton, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
