Frank Weaver, Sr.

Mr. Frank Weaver, Sr., 84, of 606 Manchester Street, Wilson, NC, passed away on September 15, 2017. 

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Barnes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 1004 Railroad Street, S., Wilson, NC.

Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street, Ext., Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr., Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Mr. Weaver was preceded in death by one grand-daughter, Marquita Weaver;  his parents, Roosevelt Weaver and Carrie Melton Weave and two sisters, Mattie Artis and Emma Melton. 

    He leaves many cherished memories to: his former wife, Patty Ann Sanders; two sons, Roosevelt Weaver, Frank Weaver, Jr. (Gwen); two daughters, Gail Johnson and Rita Winfield; five grandchildren, Kesia Williams, Quentin T. Williams, Haylie Weaver and Isley Weaver all of Wilson, NC and  Tamella “Nikka” Weaver of Rocky Mount, NC; seven great-grandchildren, LaQuasha Weaver, Alysha Weaver, Alexis Howard, Trinity Howard, Trenton Howard, Jah-Shun Howard and Ke’Naeya Richardson all of Rocky Mount, NC; one sister, Velma Farmer (Lesly II); one nephew; Lesly A Farmer, III ( Amy) of Cartersville, GA; one great niece, Angel Farmer of Cartersville, GA; one great-nephew, Joshua Farmer of  Cartersville, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relative and friends; including three very special friends, Brenda, Debra and Phillip.

The family will receive friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Weaver, Jr., 2608 Barrington Drive, N., Wilson, NC. where they will assemble on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 12:00 pm in preparation for the funeral procession.
