Evangelist Elizabeth Woodard Howell

Evangelist Elizabeth Woodard Howell, 67, of 1325 Davis Mill Road, Fremont, North Carolina transitioned from labor to reward on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 in the comfort of her home while surrounded by her loving family.

The homegoing service will be held on Monday, August 31, 2015 @ 12:00 pm.  The service will be held at L.N. Forbes Original Free Will Baptist Tabernacle located at 1800 Lane Street Ext., Wilson, North Carolina. Minister Diane Howell will deliver the eulogy. The committal service will follow immediately in the Rest Haven Cemetery also located on Lane Street Ext., Wilson,NC.

Evangelist Howell was preceded in death by her parents, Marcellous Woodard and Adlona Fields Woodard;  two brothers, Jesse James Woodard and and Reverend Calvin Woodard.

She leaves cherished memories: her devoted husband, Bobby Howell of the home; one son, Russell Howell (Diane) of Chester, VA; two daughters, Tracey Howell of Wilson, NC and April Howell Daniels (Gannon) of Winterville, NC; five grandchildren, Devin Howell of Richmond, VA, Tahkeim Rashaud Howell of Greenboro, NC, Imari Howell of the home, Jaida Howell of Chester, VA, and Gabrielle Elandra Daniels of Winterville, NC; two great grandchildren, Cadance Russell and Naudia Howell both of Greensboro, NC; five brothers, Andrew Woodard of Walstonburg, NC, Roscoe Woodard of Wilson, NC, Roosevelt Woodard (Sudie) of Baltimore, MD, Donald Woodard of Wilson, NC and Brody Williams (Minnie) of Dudley, NC; four sisters, Marjorie Horne of Stantonsburg, NC, Mary Coley and Adlonia Anderson both of Wilson, NC, and Doris Davis of Eureka, NC; seven sisters-in-law, Arlene Woodard of Wilson, NC, Leatrice Woodard, Doris J. Smith (Johnny) and Frances Ruffin (Leroy) all of Fremont, NC, Shirley Best and Dianne Spellman (Wallace) both of Pikeville, NC and Letha Faye Ralph (Steward) of Charlotte, NC; five brothers-in-law, Larry Howell (Claudette), Raymond Howell (Francine) both of Wilson, NC, David Howell and James Howell (Sheryl) both of Fremont, NC and Robert Howell (Carolyn) of Goldsboro, NC; seven special friends, Janice Edmundson, Evelyn Joyner, Tracy Connors, Jessica Bullock, Ernestine Jackson, Lillian Stokes and Sandra Smith; a host of nieces nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A public visitiation will be held for Evangelist Howell on Sunday, August 30, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, North Carolina.
