Eva Mae Coley Brown

Mrs. Eva Mae Coley Brown, 78, of 113 Cone Street, Wilson, NC, passed away on July 27, 2016 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 11:00 am at Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ, 1601 Lane Street, Ext., Wilson, NC., burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street, Ext., Wilson, NC..

A public viewing will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC. 

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Brown, Sr.; her parents, Fonzie Coley and Elizabeth Everette Coley; one brother, Melvin Coley; three sisters, Fannie Pearl Coley, Agnes Coley and Mary Frances Eatman.

She leaves many cherished memories to: one son, James C. Brown, Jr. (Gennal) of Hinesville, GA; three daughters, Linda Faye Newell and Valarie Edwards both of Wilson, NC and Vickie L. Dickerson of Augusta, GA; ten grandchildren, Corey Brown (Tawanda), Toi Pollard, Rene' Brown, Bryant Fields, Demekia Binion, Chante Newell, Dennise Edwards, Jocques Dickerson, Peyton Brown and Addison Brown; twelve great grandchildren, Courteney, Cameron, Ky'Azjah, Darius, Alanis, Antwan, Antavian, Myami, Demi and Adarris, Trevonte' and Trinity; four brothers, Peter Coley (Nell) of Virginia, Elton Coley (Earlene)of Rocky Mount, NC, Isaac Coley (Elaine) of Cameron, NC, Charles Coley of Wilson, NC; one sister-in-law, Patricia Brown; one brother-in-law, John Brown of Texas; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends including five very special friends, Dorothy Richardson, Corintha Blue, Sylvia Foster, Earlene Davis and Gertrude Bullock.
