Dennis Farmer, Jr.

Mr. Dennis Farmer Jr., 77, of  1745 Apt. 115 Martin Luther KIng, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC, passed away on September 19, 2017 at Wilson Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

The funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, September 24, 2017 1:00 pm at L.N. Forbes OFWB Tabernacle, 1800 Lane Street Ext., Wilson NC. 

A public visitation will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017, 4:00 pm  until 6:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, Wilson NC.

Mr. Farmer was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis "Duke" Farmer, Sr. and Viola "Pan" Boston Farmer.

He leaves to cherish his memories to:  one son, Dennis Dew (Queen)of  Wilson NC; one  brother, Arthur “Buddy” Farmer of Wilson, NC; five sisters,  Gladys Morgan (Paul), Sallie Dickens and Joyce Brickhouse (Leroy)  all of Wilson, N.C., Tillie Mae Taylor  and Mary Jenkins (Matthew) both  of Tarboro, N.C., and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends including a close companion, Almeter Dew and special caregivers, Elizabeth Williams, Gloria Pigford, Tony Farmer and Leroy Brickhouse, Jr. 

The immediate family will assemble at the home of Ms. Sallie Dickens, 505 Crestview Avenue, SW, Wilson, NC on Sunday at 12:00 noon in preparation for the funeral procession. 

Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King,Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
