Deborah Ann Hardy Barnes "Putty", 59, of 867 Strickland Road, Walstonburg, NC, passed away August 17, 2015 at her residence.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, August 23, 2015, 3:00 pm at Contending For The Faith Church Ministries, 1006 Academy Street, Wilson, NC.

A public viewing will be held at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC on Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm.

Mrs. Barnes leaves cherished memories to: her husband, Authur Lee Barnes of Greenville, NC; her parents, Mary Adelle Ruffin White of Walstonburg, NC and Thomas Hardy (Theresa) of Richmond Virginia;  three brothers, William E. Hardy (Faye) of Houston, TX,  Jerome Evans of Durham, NC, Donald Evans (Vakesha) of Oxford, NC; three sisters, Judy Kelly of Durham,NC,  Wanda Hardy of Farmville, NC, Patrena Pettaway (Jerome) of Walstonburg, NC,  thirty two step brothers and sisters;  father and mother-in-law, James and Calethia Barnes of Farmville, NC; two brothers-in-law, Ronnie Barnes (Shirley) of Raleigh, NC and Tony Barnes of Greensboro, NC; two sisters-in-law, Pat Barnes  and Wanda Joyner (Carlton) both of Farmville, NC; four uncles, Billy Ray Ruffin of Wilson, NC, Roosevelt Ruffin of Kenly, NC, Dan Ruffin (Dorothy) of San Diego, CA, Moses Hardy of Richmond, VA and Marcellus Hardy (Minnie) of Wilson, NC; four aunts, Hilda Mayo of Wilson, NC, Diane Merritt (Theodore) of Bracey, VA, Annie Doris Graham of Stantonsburg, NC and Madie Ruffin of Black Creek, NC; a very special friend, Gloria Moore of Ayden, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving friends at the residence of   Mrs. Mary Adelle White, 3873 Hwy 264A, Walstonburg, NC.

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
