Christopher Locus

Mr. Christopher Locus, 23, of Raleigh, NC, passed away on September 21, 2016. 

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, October 7, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC. 

Christopher James Locus son of Frances B. Locus and the late Dennis James Locus was born May 20, 1993 in Wake County, North Carolina. Mr. Locus departed this earthly life on September 21, 2016 in Raleigh NC. 

Chris was reared and educated in Wake/Durham County, Public Schools, North Carolina. He enjoyed working in Landscaping and very handy with his hands. Preceded in death by his father Dennis James Locus and one brother Lawrence Alexander Locus.  

Knowing the need to change his lifestyle, Chris gave his life to Christ two weeks ago. He was a loyal friend and loving son and brother. 

He leaves many cherished memories to: his mother Frances B. Locus, three brothers: Joshua and Jeremy Locus of Raleigh and Jerry Buckman of Nashville, NC; Five sisters: Alicia, Tiffany, Kimberly, Lakisha Locus and Karen Mceachin Lewis all of Raleigh, NC. Five Uncles: Bobby (Ella) Bryant of Durham, NC, Christopher (Cheryl) Brathwaite of Manhattan, NY, Apostle Ricky (Bessie) Locus, of Smithfield, NC, Tony (Ada) Locus of Raleigh, NC, Billie (Mintecia) Locus of Dallas, GA, Six Aunts: Shirley Ann Bryant, and Misty Locus of Wilson, NC, Janice Locus-Kent, Brenda Locus and Minnie (James) Chatman of Lucama, NC, Valeria Brathwaite of Jamaica NY. Paternal grandmother; Frances A. Locus of Lucama, NC, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other family and friends. 

The family is requesting assistance to funeralize Christopher through a GoFundMe account that has been set up.  Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
