We are so sorry to hear that that earth has loss such a great treasure. However, we have peace in knowing that God has received her with open arms. Like so many families, we were touched when sister Betty used her heavenly voice to comfort us during the funeral service of our love ones. Therefore, may the Angels of God sign melodies filled with strength and healing to her beloved family now. Thank you, Pastor Edward Theodore Council

She was instrumental in looking out for our Cousin Rufus after the passing of his parents, while he lived in Stantonsburg. You will be missed by all, Love Cousin JoAnn Artis Stevens

Words are so inadequate to express the depth of saddness & sorrow felt by the passing of such a beautiful soul, Ms. Betty Ann Speight Aka "Ms. Bet". I can imagine her saying, "Thank You LORD! I made it over! And I'm alright now." Prayers for strength and comfort sent on behalf of our Family.

WOW ! Recently had a conversation with Ms Betty Speight about her golden voice. I've always looked forward to hearing her sing " Tell the Angels I'm on my way". She could bring the spirit into the church with that voice. May the God of peace, provide her family, choir members, and church family, the strength needed during this difficult time.

My expressions of condolence to The Speight Family. Jehovah God takes no pleasure in the death of anyone-Ezekiel 18:32. He desires people to live on earth forever in peace, happiness and perfection-Psalms 37:10-11, 29. Jesus Christ will use his God-given power to reunite families right here on earth as he did Lazarus-John 11:41-44 and John 5:28-29. I do hope you will take the opportunity to read these scriptures in your copy of The Bible and receive comfort.
