 Annie Ruffin Langely, 61, of 1622 Glasgow Street, Durham, NC, formerly of Kenly, NC, passed away at her residence on Thursday, September 7, 2017.  

 A public viewing will be held Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr., Pkwy., Wilson, NC.  The family hour and final viewing will be from 11:00 to 11:50 a.m. on Friday prior to the funeral service, which is scheduled for 12 noon at First Calvary Baptist Church, 1311 Morehead Avenue, Durham, NC.  Pastor Fredrick A. Davis will officiate and burial will follow in Glenview Memorial Park, Apex Highway, Durham, NC.

Annie was preceded in death by her mother, Pauline B. Ruffin and brother, Roosevelt Ruffin, Jr.

She leaves many cherished memories to:  her dedicated and loving husband, Michael S. Langley, of the home; two daughters, Jessica Brooke Langley of Greensboro and Whitney Roshawn Langley of Atlanta, GA; one son, Rodrick A. Coleman (Tyffany) of Durham, NC; four grandchildren, Naomi Coleman, Zahir Coleman, Ramses Coleman and Ramya Coleman, all of Durham, NC; her father, Roosevelt Ruffin Sr., of Kenly; two sisters, Vicky R. Jenkins (Anthony) of Raleigh and Carol Stevens of Wilson; three brothers, Dred Beamon, Jr. of Kenly, Ricky Ruffin (Marlene) and James Raspberry, both of Wilson, NC; five sisters-in-law, Sarah Riley, Marjorie Lipscomb (Reginald), Rev. Audrey Wilson (Pastor Larry Wilson) and Dorothy Miles (Charles), all of Durham, NC, and Rev. Vickie Winters (Pastor Tommy Winters) of Carrollton, GA; four brothers-in-law, Elijah Langley, Jr., Godfrey Langley, Mitchell Langley (Vanessa) and Rickie Langley, all of Durham, NC; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends including her Godmother and family, Emma Devine, Thomas Devine, Fernandez Devine, Felicia Devine and Reginal Devine, all of Durham, NC; and a very special friend, Tamu Graves-Coleman, of Durham.

Services are being handled by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.
