Alma R. Batts

Ms. Alma R. Batts, 83, of 305 Thurston Drive, Wilson, NC, passed away on December 4, 2017 at Wilson Medical Center.  The funeral service is scheduled for Friday, December 8, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Feel Free Ministries, 3543 US 301 N., Wilson, NC.  Pastor Douglas Atkinson will officiate and burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. parkway, Wilson, NC.

Ms. Batts was preceded in death by: one brother, Jimmie Anderson and two sisters, Magdalene Taylor and Agnes Taylor.

She leaves many loving memories and cherished thoughts to: her daughter, Helen Taylor Corbin (Curtis) of Richmond, VA; two grandchildren, Marquieta Taylor of the home and Monticus Taylor of Richmond, VA; three great grandchildren, Tamilya Isom and Madison Chatman, both of the home and Kiona Perry of Wilson; two sisters, Mattie Allen (Curtis) and Bettie Renfrow, both of Wilson; two brothers, Charlie Lee Taylor (Jeraldine) of Elm City and Connie Roscoe Taylor, Jr., of Wilson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
