Albert Elmore Davis II

Mr. Albert Elmore Davis II, 70, of 9971 East NC Highway 97, Rocky Mount, NC, passed away on November 19, 2017.

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 11:00 am at Atkins Memorial Tabernacle, 6740 Rock Ridge Sims Road, Sims, NC. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street, Ext., Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 3:30 pm until 7:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Elmer Davis and Rosetta Coley Davis and one brother, John E. Davis.

He leaves many cherished memories to : his wife, Elaine B. Davis of the home; two sons, Albert Davis III of N. Agusta, SC and Andre E. Davis of Atlanta, GA; one daughter, Songa Hodge; one grandchild, Dalin Hodge of the home; one brother, Ralph Davis (Dorothy) of Camden, SC; eight sisters, Carolyn Hodges, Sandra Lucas (John), Vivian Armstrong (David), Andreal Davis (fiancee' Bobby) and Dedria Faison (Cedric) all  of Wilson, NC, Grace Parker (Ernest) of Durham, NC, Terry Worrell of Walstonburg, NC and Shelia Barnes (Ricky) of Raleigh; one sister-in-law, Elizabeth Simpson (Theron) of Ft. Mills, SC; one brother-in-law, Bobby Bentley (Beverly) of Agusta, GA; special cousins, Jerome Hester, Calvin Hester, Sue Barbour, Mona Finch, Sharon Pridgen; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including, two special nephews, Michael Harris and Dr. T. L. Barnes
